Welcome to the site of Leggy Fish Violin Instruction and Leggy Fish Artist Management. My name is Nancy Kuo and I am the founder of both companies. This site combines two of my passions; music education and music business. I have played the violin for 26 years in various orchestras, bands, and ensembles. I am an active, professional musician and have performed in Phoenix, Boston, New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles (my current hometown). In addition, I also play and teach viola.

I am privileged to have over 17 years experience teaching privately and in the public school system with Midori and Friends. I take great pleasure in helping students build their own musical adventures.
We offer quality in-home private lessons and group lessons customized to work with your schedules, skill, and interests. We offer flexible scheduling and no registration fees. Whether you're new to the violin, an intermediate violinist who has been playing for several years, or someone who is interested in playing with others, we can further your growth.

We strive to help artists grow and fulfill their artistic goals through unconventional marketing and publicity in the Northern and Southern California markets. Passion and perseverance go hand in hand, as we partner with our artists in cultivating their message. Priding ourselves on desire, determination, and patience, we're Leggy Fish. Evolving the artist's career.
With a Music Business degree from Berklee College of Music, I have over 10 years of sales, marketing, and artist management experience in the music business. I enjoy growing and working with talented bands and individuals in growing their musical careers.
If you are interested in violin lessons or are in need of an apt talent manager, I can help you walk, run, swim (or all three) to your musical goals. Hence the name Leggy Fish--just my whimsical description of it all.

Warmly,
Nancy
