"Five Day Weekend" theme music written for the film "Holiday Road" by Nancy Kuo
Welcome to Leggy Fish Violin Lessons! The name Leggy Fish Violin Lessons was created in 2009 by violinist and educator Nancy Kuo who wanted a whimsical name for her unique approach to music education. LF offers quality in-home private lessons and group lessons customized to work with your schedule, skills, and interests. We offer flexible scheduling with ZERO registration fees. Bi-monthly String Flings and seasonal recitals take place at no additional cost, giving students opportunities to share and play music with other students in a friendly, comfortable, and non competitive environment. Whether you're new to the violin or a violinist who has been playing for several years, we can further your growth!
Head Instructor, Nancy Kuo is privileged to have over 19 years of experience teaching privately and in the public school system in AZ, MA, NY, and CA, and has served on faculty at Midori & Friends, The Joe Ferrante Music Academy, Green Brooms Music Academy, La Canada School of Music and the Silverlake Conservatory. Performing for over 27 years in classical, jazz, pop, rock, and world-fusion groups, Nancy has made multiple appearances on the TLC network, played for film/tv sound tracks, played musical theater productions, and has collaborated with many bands and artists like Guster, That Dog, and Aiden Hawken, to name a few.
